2020/2021 University Recruits

CBA's success continues past High School seasons, and this year sees 14 players recruited into university basketball. CBA wishes everyone the best of luck in their new basketball careers and we are glad to have been part of their development.

 

Hudson Wiebe

Hudson Wiebe is a 2020 CBA Graduate who played for Western Canada High School. He is now playing for Ambrose College in Calgary.

Connor Stel

Connor Stel is a 2020 CBA Graduate who played for St. Mary’s High School. He is now playing for Ambrose College in Calgary.

Lucas Pedersen

Lucas Pedersen is a 2020 CBA Graduate who played for Western Canada High School and Edge.  He is now playing for Ambrose College in Calgary.

David Tiessen

David Tiessen is a 2020 CBA Graduate who played for Centennial High School.  He is now playing for the University of Northern British Columbia.

Aidan Smith

Congratulations on Aiden Smith being part of the University of a Calgary Dinos men’s basketball team. Aiden has been playing CBA since the 6th grade. Aiden, who has 3 younger siblings in the CBA program has been a role model for the CBA nation and helped coach over the last couple of years. We wish him the very best in his new journey.

Katie Wuotila

CBA Raised: Katie Wuotila is a 9 year CBA player who played for the Western Canada Redhawks in high school.  She is now playing for Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  Katie is studying commerce and plans to finish with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Ashley Truesdale

CBA Raised: Ashley Truesdale is a 7 year CBA player who played for Webber Academy in high school.  She is now playing for Western University in London, Ontario.  Ashley is studying medical sciences.

Katie Cossarini

CBA Raised: Katie Cossarini is a 9 year CBA player who played for the Western Canada Redhawks in high school.  She is now playing for Western University in London, Ontario.  Katie is studying engineering and planning on a Chemical Engineering degree

Maddy Stata-Luzentales

CBA Raised: Maddy Stata-Luzentales is a 7 year CBA player who played for Centennial Coyotes in high school.  She is now playing for Mount Royal University here in Calgary. Maddy is in Health and Physical education where she is planning on getting a degree in Physiotherapy to become a prosthetist.

Meike Boerstra

CBA Raised: Meike Boerstra is a 5 year CBA player who played for the Western Canada Redhawks in high school.  She is now playing for the University of Victoria. Meike is majoring in Biology-Psychology with her goal to get a Bachelor in Science.

Kennedy Blaskin

CBA Raised: Kennedy Blaskin is a 9 year CBA player who played for the Western Canada Redhawks in high school.  She is now playing for the University of Lethbridge women's team.  Kennedy is working towards a public health degree and plans on going to medical school.

Katie Crombeen

CBA Raised: Katie Crombeen is a 6 year CBA player who played for the Western Canada Redhawks in high school.  She is now playing for Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  Katie is taking a Bachelor of Management and planning to major in human resources.

Hannah Riddick

Very exciting news coming out of NCAA Div 1. CBA’s very own Hannah Riddick will be continuing her basketball career as a Tiger suiting up for the Univeristy of Memphis. We are very proud of you Hannah and how much you have grown and developed both on and off the court. We look forward to watching your NCAA Div 1 career and your CBA family wishes you the best of luck on this journey.
 

Phillipina Kyei

Another NCAA Div 1 recruit coming out CBA’s class of 2021. Our very own Phillipina Kyei has announced that she will be continuing her basketball career as a Duck suiting up for the Oregon Universityt Ducks Phillipina will become the tallest player to join Oregon in program history at 6-foot-8. Congratulations Phillipina, we are very proud of you and how much you have grown and developed both on and off the court. We wish you all the best and we look forward to watching you on your NCAA Div 1 Journey.
