CBA U11 Girls Program Information

Jan. 16, 2020

BORN 2008/2009/2010

Calgary Basketball Academy is proud to enter their 10th year of Club Basketball this Spring.  At CBA we prides ourselves on our level of coaches.  With over 30 coaches certified through Canada Basketball, we continue to add one of the best values available in the Calgary community.

If your daughter has a desire to continue to work on her basketball development while learning teamwork, compete and life skills, we hope you consider CBA as an option this Spring.

Head Coach and director of the CBA U11 program is Coach Mike Shaw.  Mike is the General Manager of Calgary Minor Basketball Association (CMBA) and is the head technical director for the largest basketball organization in Western Canada.

Mike’s resume working with kids spans over 20 years and has been with CBA for the past 7 years.  Coach Mike is in high demand as a coach and we are blessed to have him working with our youngest and most important age group when it comes to development.

CBA primary focus for players at the U11 level is for all players to continue to love the game and to achieve their learning outcomes.  We follow the Canada Basketball curriculum that will translate to teams all the way to the University level.

Calgary Basketball Academy we focus on the development of youth basketball.  Some of our coaches include current Alberta Basketball coaches, Division 1 High School coaches, University coaches and Collage Coaches.  We put together a plan from the U11 age thru to High School for your daughter to reach any potential goals she may have, all the time not losing focus of friendship, a sense of belonging, skill development and of course the love of the game.

Below is an overview of what the season looks like for your family in the Spring for 2020.
